The testing process employs standardized sample preparation and testing procedures: five transverse and five longitudinal samples are randomly selected, each sample is uniformly cut to a standard size of 50mm wide and 200mm long, and then tested for breaking strength and elongation at break using a professional strength testing machine.

Standardized testing procedures ensure the authenticity and repeatability of transverse and longitudinal strength data. Sample Preparation: Test samples are taken from the same batch and the same meter segment of the nonwoven fabric roll to ensure consistency in weight and hydrophilic modification process. The samples are fixed on a standard test stand, ensuring a flat, wrinkle-free surface to avoid external forces affecting the liquid penetration path.

Testing Equipment: A standard dropper bulb was used as the liquid dispensing tool to precisely control the volume of liquid added each time, ensuring a single drop volume error of ≤0.05mL.

Test Procedure: Three parallel tests were performed consecutively at the same fixed location on the sample. A stopwatch was started immediately after each drop and stopped when the liquid had completely penetrated the non-woven fabric and no visible droplets remained on the surface. The penetration time was recorded.

Test Results: The three parallel test data were 2 seconds, 3 seconds, and 3.5 seconds, respectively. The results showed small deviations and excellent stability, far below the industry standard for penetration time.
